MLO organizes information you provide and, with your permission, connects to external calendars. You decide which accounts to connect and which projects to share. MLO does not use Google Calendar information to serve advertisements or sell it to data brokers.
01 Overview
My Life Organized (“MLO,” “we,” or “the service”) is a productivity application available at organizer.overvault.ca. It is operated by the administrator of this installation. This policy explains how the application accesses, uses, stores and shares information in connection with its features.
People who operate their own MLO installations may have different hosting and backup arrangements. This policy describes the functionality of the MLO installation at the domain above.
02 Information we process
Depending on the features you use, MLO may process the following:
- Account information: username, display name, optional recovery email and verification status, password hash, account role and approval status. Passwords are stored as salted hashes, not in plaintext.
- Workspace content: tasks, projects, notes, attachments, goals, habits, study and course information, work items, schedules and shared spaces.
- Financial information you choose to enter or import: expenses, budgets and statement transaction details. MLO's existing import functions do not require your online banking password.
- Calendar information: connected-account identity, calendar details, event titles, dates, times, and other event information returned by a connected provider.
- Technical information: session cookies and limited operational information needed to authenticate users, prevent abuse and operate the service; infrastructure logs may contain connection details such as IP addresses.
03 Google & Microsoft Calendar connections
Calendar connections are optional. When you explicitly authorize Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, MLO may request permissions to read calendars and events and, if you grant edit access, create, update or delete events that you direct MLO to manage.
MLO uses the authorized information to display external events alongside your workspace schedule, let you choose which connected calendar receives an event, and refresh a local event cache periodically while the connection is active. Connected account identifiers and authorization credentials are stored with the connection; OAuth credentials are encrypted at rest using the server's configured calendar encryption key.
Google API Limited Use: MLO's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Calendar data is used to provide and improve the calendar functionality you request, not for personalized advertising, sale to data brokers, or training general-purpose AI models.
You may disconnect an account from the Connected Calendars area. Disconnecting removes the local connection and its linked cached events; it does not delete the underlying events held by Google or Microsoft. You can also revoke permissions from your Google or Microsoft account settings.
Apple/iCalendar subscriptions, when used, are read-only feeds and do not provide write access to the calendar provider.
04 How we use information
- To provide your personal workspace, reminders, schedules, projects and other selected features.
- To display, synchronize and manage events in external calendars at your direction.
- To authenticate accounts, apply workspace permissions and prevent unauthorized access.
- To support user-requested imports, exports, collaboration and technical troubleshooting.
- To operate the service, investigate failures and comply with applicable legal obligations.
MLO does not include an advertising system or sell personal workspace information as part of its current functionality.
06 Security and storage
MLO uses authenticated sessions and application-level permissions for private and shared records. Account passwords are salted and hashed. Connected calendar credentials are encrypted in the local database using the configured encryption key, and uploaded attachments are served through permission-checked endpoints.
Application data is stored by the operator of this installation, including its database, files and backups. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security. Please choose a strong password and contact the operator if you suspect unauthorized access.
07 Retention and deletion
Workspace records are generally retained while the account or installation remains in use, unless a user deletes a supported record or the operator removes it. Cached events are removed when their calendar connection is deleted. Some deleted information may remain temporarily in server backups or operational records until those copies are rotated or deleted.
Important: Disabling an account does not necessarily delete all of its data. For account-wide deletion, data access, or correction requests, contact the installation operator using the contact information below. Deletion requests may need manual processing.
08 Your choices
- Connect or disconnect Google, Microsoft and compatible read-only calendars.
- Choose which projects and spaces to share with others.
- Use available data export tools, including personal JSON exports and task/financial CSV exports where supported.
- Delete individual records where the application provides deletion controls.
- Ask the operator about correcting or deleting other personal information.
09 Contact and changes
The operator may update this policy when the application changes, for example when new integrations are introduced. Material changes to how Google user data is used will require appropriate notice and consent before the new use begins.
